A Team of Coaches that help you succeed!

Our goal is to provide quality coaches that know the sport, believe in the ALA RAISE values, want success for the program, and generally care for our student-athletes in all they do.

Billy Hunt - Athletic Director

Coach Hunt has been coaching youth sports for about 30 years.  He has coached basketball, soccer, baseball, and volleyball.  He has been working as an Athletic Director for the past 8 years.

In high school, Coach Hunt was a multiple sport athlete and competed in football, basketball, baseball, and track and field.  His most significant honor came during his senior year of football season in high school when he was named All-American Defensive State Player of the Year for Alaska.  He was also named Athlete of the year for his high school.

Coach Hunt created what he calls his 4 pillars to success.  Work Ethic, Accountability, Time Management, and Commitment.  Coach Hunt believes if you have these 4 pillars as part of your life that you will succeed in all you do.  Coach Hunt said, " The ALA RAISE values align well with my 4 pillars and I believe they will help our youth become leaders in our society."

Asked why he does what he does, Coach Hunt stated " I had great mentors in my life and they helped me become the person I am today.  Now it's my turn to give back to our youth and help them become better versions of themselves so they may have success in their life."
